  1. I recently set up a dual pentium machine and installed Windows NT on
  2. it.  My problem is speed.  It's slow as a dog.  It's only twice the
  3. speed of my Amiga 4000.  I was expecting better performance than that.
  4. If I install the single processor kernal version I get a 2.7x speed
  5. increase instead of a 2.1 with multiprocessor version.  I'm running
  6. Animation Master as well, under OS2 on the same machine.  Render times
  7. are 8x faster under OS/2 than Windows NT.

  9. My guess is that my NT configuration is goofy.  Any pitfalls I need to
  10. know about?
